Pregnancies often require specialized ultrasounds with prenatal diagnosis and/or therapy. The physicians and staff at AMOMI provide a wide range of ultrasound services. We are accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) and follow strict standards for ultrasound techniques and indications.

Our services include:

• first trimester obstetrical sonograms
• combined first trimester nuchal translucency assessments
• detailed complete obstetrical ultrasounds for fetal anatomy
• cervical length ultrasounds to screen for preterm labor and cervical insufficiency
• third trimester examinations for fetal growth and wellbeing
• specialized Doppler studies
• 3-D ultrasound for diagnostic purposes

Our physicians have been fellowship-trained to provide prenatal diagnosis through genetic amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling, percutaneous umbilical blood sampling (PUBS) with fetal intrauterine transfusion, and in utero fetal therapy.
